Just a few miles outside Truro, deep in the beautiful Roseland countryside, you’ll find the Kings Head in the tiny hamlet of Ruan Lanihorne.
At the head of the Fal Estuary and close to the magical Lamorran Woods this is a traditional Country Pub with a warm welcome, great beers and an imaginative menu.
Winter time sees us with roaring fires, beamed ceilings, friendly ambience and a comfy sofa, a choice of winter warming dishes to make you feel cosy with perhaps a glass of mulled wine. Summertime, in the late afternoon sunshine, or at a lunchtime on the terrace, under the trees with, a jug of pimms
maybe and some patio heaters should it get cooler, maybe with a plate of Langoustines or Scallops that have been caught that afternoon.
Whatever the season, the Kings Head responds, welcoming all year, whatever the weather. Wooden tables and chairs on both sides of the bar provide a seat that is comfortable for more than ten minutes! Cushions here and there add a touch of comfort and a homely feel for our customers.
Our aim is to offer a warm welcome, attentive friendly service and wonderful local food!
If you happen to be up in the Lanlivery area, why not call on our friends at The Crown Inn. For more information on the Crown please go to http://www.wagtailinns.com/
